ULM published a greatly edited and de-politicized version of the following journal, written by Jorge. I guess this, is the beginning of Tech Spiel: Life is short. Yes. If you like to surf buy a new modem. I got a good Zoom v9.0 56k (that means pretty fast) modem for $40 and a few bucks shipping. Compare current prices at C-Net. I always get the best shareware at C-Net or ZD-Net or Nonags. Also, don't use AOL. You're afraid of change, ok, but you'll have more fun with another service provider. C-Net and ZD-Net are computer information sites with a lot of downloadable stuff. If you don't know how to download, they explain it. If you don't feel like downloading go to the beach.
